No update for a while. My bad. Things have been pretty hectic here — with D-day approaching faster than how fast that guitarist guy from that band can play his guitar. Long story short, here’s the inside scoop…

I went to my university campus this morning, to find that most of the area around the north entrance had been shaved cleaner than Britney Spears’ skull when she went bananas that one time. (There used to be some pretty pine trees there).

Today, I went to the park.
The only other person there was a Japanese mother with a toddler, who cleared the area about five minutes after I got there. (I take it she couldn’t stand breathing the same air as a “suspicious foreigner”. And… nothing of value was lost.)

…peaceful. I went out to do my groceries at about 7. The main street was clogged, as usual, but the side streets were nice, quiet, and deserted. Just the way I like’em.

Japan has no Daylight Savings, so days are pretty short in winter. The sun rises around 6 AM (or slightly later) and by 5 PM, it’s already dark outside. (Not that I mind )
Other than during rush hours, side streets — such as this one — are usually deserted, aside from the occasional pedestrians [...]
I did a little socializing today (hence the late update).
This is my room. As you can see, I have no bed and I have no desk. I really need to replace that poster that fell off, but so far couldn’t be fsc’d to.
